In 2004 TEAM LTZ shot 7 .8 million paintballs during practice and tournaments. They participated in 40 Tournaments that year, sometimes two in the same day (So. Cal. In the a.m. and Beatty, Nevada in the evening i.e.). These Tournaments included the anchor team of TEAM LTZ and the BRADY”S Paintball LTZ travel team. In the 2004 calendar year, Team LTZ was on the road for Tournaments and practice a total of 48 weekends of the 52 weekends in the year. Paintball.Com, Warpig.com and Paintball Sports all compared their travel schedule that year to the same as an NBA Franchise. It was an incredible year all-around for everyone involved in the 2004 season and it was capped off with a photo taken by a Sports Illustrated photographer at the 2004 International Amateur Open (aka I.A.O.) appearing in a centerfold of the December issue of Sports Illustrated. As of the 2024 paintball year, no other team in the storied history of paintball has ever graced a centerfold shot in Sports Illustrated except for TEAM LTZ. (The 2004 Sports Illustrated issue is the one commemorating the Boston Red Sox on the cover…) T
